Former Pakistani fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar recently gave statement by saying, the series between India and Pakistan is not in trouble due to the cricket board of both the country but because of political dispute among both the countries. He said, now any cricketer cannot be a star just in a night because no matches between India and Pakistan is going on and no excitement among players can be seen presently. This is all due to political disputes. Neither BCCI nor PCB is involved in troubling the series between India and Pakistan.

पूर्व पाकिस्तानी तेज़ गेंदबाज़ शोएब अख्तर ने भारत और पाकिस्तान क्रिकेट बोर्ड के बीच चली आ रही तकरार पर बात करते हुए कहा कि उन्हें बेहद दुःख है कि भारत और पाकिस्तान के क्रिकेटर्स आपस में मैच नहीं खेल पा रहे हैं. अख्तर ने कहा कि दोनों ही मुल्कों के लोग इन दो टीमों के बीच होने वाले दिलचस्प मुकाबले से वंचित रह रहे हैं. रावलपिंडी एक्सप्रेस ने इस बात पर खेद जताते हुए कहा कि अगर दोनों टीमों के बीच मैच नहीं हो रहा है, तो बेहतर होगा कि इस मामले को यूँ ही छोड़ दिया जाए.
