Student Recruits Strangers to Help Convince Her Dream College to Accept Her

An 18-year-old woman is hoping to catch the eye of the admissions department at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with a Twitter plea.Irina Althouse shared a video on Twitter of people asking the university to accept her. Althouse recruited people at a Walmart in Harleysville, Pennsylvania, and a mall in North Wales, Pennsylvania, to participate in her video. “Have been nervous about getting accepted into Temple University so I went out and found some people who want me to go as much as I do,” the post said.Althouse said she has wanted to go to Temple since she was a high school freshman. “My first visit, I knew in complete confidence I had found my school,” she said.
