Labour: “enough is enough” on defence spending cuts

Nia Griffith said today that it was “very important” that the government listen the warning of army chief Sir Nick Carter that country was vulnerable to it’s enemies. Labour’s shadow defence secretary urged the government to end cuts to the army saying “enough is enough” and confirmed a future Labour government would honour its spending commitment to NATO.
