2001 to 2007 Chrysler town and country bad idle and stalling

The 2006 Chrysler van had a bad idle when the AC was on and the engine light came on occasionally, it also stalled a couple times. I found changing the battery terminals made it run much better and only cost about $8. I used Oxgaurd electrical joint compound and have used NOALUX electrical joint compound in the past with good results.
2/10/2016 I am adding that I have been driving the van since this repair with no more wining coming from the serpentine belt. I assume the wine was from the alternator and a high in rush of current due to the bad terminals and winter weather. This terminal change is the best maintenance I have done on this van.
I am adding on 1/4/2017 I have still had no stalling issue or noises and have not cleaned the battery terminals since this was posted.
