Alec Baldwin Defends Woody Allen
Alec Baldwin is coming to the defense of his good friend, Woody Allen.

In the wake of the Time’s Up and the MeToo campaign, people are pointing out the director has his own sordid past.

But Alec took to Twitter and wrote that Woody was investigated and no charges were filed… and while the renunciation of his work has some purpose, it is unfair and sad to him.

Baldwin continued and said that it is possible to support survivors of pedophilia and sexual assault while also believing Woody is innocent. He says the intention is not to dismiss or ignore such complaints, but accusing people of such crimes should be treated carefully.

Many actors on Woody’s latest film, A Rainy Day, have donated their salaries to charity.
