Although a native of Los Angeles, it's Detroit where Esteban Adame's musical associations lay.
It all started ten years ago when Mike Banks of legendary techno outfit Underground Resistance picked him to work on his Galaxy 2 Galaxy and Los Hermanos projects as a keyboardist, soon releasing on Subject Detroit and Carl Craig's Planet E as ICAN with Santiago Salazar.
His stomping, no messin' brand of techno has led to the 'Paper People' EP on Jordan Peak's Rogue Society, alongside remixes from Jus-Ed and another key Detroit player in Robert Hood.
Hood steps up on 'Rays of Saturn' to deliver a piece of techno dynamite. Heavy bass kicks bang from the off and it's not long until the oh-so-Hood synths whirl and probe their way through the remainder of the track. Huge.
