Love it or hate it, there's no denying its hold over dance music and one of the sub-genre's poster boys is of course the Swedish globe-trotter Avicii. There's no stopping the DJ and producer at the moment and now his track 'Lay Me Down' has been given an exceptional remix.
The fifth single to be released from the DJ's debut album 'True' has been given a makeover by South-African producer Black Coffee, arguably one of the nation's most important musical exports when it comes to dance music.
Black Coffee's rework of 'Lay Me Down' features some quintessential drums that slam and roll their way through the track, hard-hitting basslines and an overall feel that takes you to the heart of Africa. It's rich, deep and dare we say, better than the original. Check it.
