Indiana University - Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) has been put on lockdown after a person with a gun was reportedly seen running towards campus, the university says. (more) The university said in an alert sent to students at 3:10 p.m. ET on Tuesday that a subject with a gun was reported to have been seen running towards the IUPUI campus from the 700 block of Blake Street. "If you are on campus, trust your instincts and take safe shelter in the nearest available room. Lock the door if possible. Remain in place until the police or a campus administrator known to you gives the ALL CLEAR," the alert said.
