Trump Lashes Out At WSJ Over His Remark About 'Good Relationship' With Kim Jong Un

President Trump on Sunday lashed out at the Wall Street Journal over his remark about having a "good relationship" with Kim Jong-un.

When the Wall Street Journal quoted President Trump as saying that he has a "good relationship" with Kim Jong-un, the North Korean leader, many reacted with surprise, considering just days ago, he had called Kim "Little Rocket Man" and "a sick puppy" over nuclear weapons testing.
Now, Trump is denying he made that exact comment.
"The Wall Street Journal stated falsely that I said to them 'I have a good relationship with Kim Jong Un' (of N. Korea). Obviously I didn't say that. I said 'I'd have a good relationship with Kim Jong Un,' a big difference," Trump wrote on Twitter. "Fortunately we now record conversations with reporters and they knew exactly what I said and meant. They just wanted a story. FAKE NEWS!"
The Journal published Trump's interview on Thursday and included the quote, "I probably have a very good relationship with Kim Jong Un. I have relationships with people. I think you people are surprised."
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders also pushed back against the Journal's story, tweeting a meme on Saturday, which called it "fake news."
In response, the Journal has released the audio from the interview and said we "stand by what we reported."
