Wake Forest vs. Duke: The No.7 Blue Devils used some timely runs and another monster game from freshman forward Marvin Bagley to dispose of the Demon Deacons, 89-71. The aforementioned Bagley scored 30, his 5th 30-point game of the season, a Duke freshman record. Fellow Duke freshmen Gary Trent and Wendell Carter combined for 34 points. Bryant Crawford led Wake Forest with 21 pts and 6 assists.
