Heavy rain led to flooding and mudflows in Montecito, California, on January 9, near where the Thomas wildfire burned last year. At least eight people were killed after almost an inch of rain fell in five minutes early on Tuesday, official said.Firefighters worked to rescue people who were stuck in their homes and vehicles.
