Kathie Lee & Megyn’s Olympic-Size Snag: Shows In Jeopardy As Hoda Heads To S. Korea!
NBC's hottest new power team Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie are heading to the Olympics to host The Today Show's first three hour LIVE from South Korea next month, and RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively fellow TODAY hosts Kathie Lee Gifford and Megyn Kelly are getting the short end of the stick as a result!

The temporary quirk in scheduling will leave Gifford home alone in New York City without a co-host (her regular co-host is Hoda Kotb) and Kelly in the Big Apple with NO hour to host AT ALL!

While Gifford, 64, may sulk over the matter, it's Kelly, 47, who's getting the worst shaft of all. Not only will the blonde host's time slot get cut due to Olympics coverage during her regular third hour show, but the network also plans on broadcasting the fourth hour of the show from Kelly's studio inside 30 rock, rather than the regular main studio across the street!

As fans know, NBC's regular TODAY schedule consists of the first two hours being hosted by Kotb, 53, and Guthrie, 46, while Kelly has the third hour and Kotb and Gifford host the fourth.

“NBC doesn’t know what to do," a production insider reveals to Radar. "They wanted to put Kathie Lee and Megyn together but neither lady wants that."

The source says show execs are even taking about giving Kelly the fourth hour and replacing Gifford, "but you can imagine what Kathie Lee’s response would be to that," snickers the snitch.

"Producers could pay Megyn to stay home while the Olympics airs but that’s a lot of money to pay for her to do nothing," quips the source, adding, "And with Hoda away who would co-host with Kathie Lee?”

"All these decision need to be made fast and good luck finding a solution that doesn’t insult either Megyn Kelly or Kathie Lee!"
