Bhuvneshwar Kumar was dismissed for 25 runs on the bowling of Morkel. India lost their big wicket post lunch session as Philanders dismissed Cheteshwar Pujara. Pujara was caught in the 2nd slips on the bowling of Philanders. By the end of the 1st day India lost 3 of their batsman on low scores.
