चरणामृत का अर्थ होता भगवान के चरणों का अमृत। जिस जल से भगवान को स्नान कराया जाता है, वह जल उनकी प्रतिमा से होता हुआ चरण तक आता है और फिर नीचे बहता है। इसी जल को चरणामृत कहा जाता है यानी भगवान का स्पर्श किया हुआ जल। यह जल पवित्र माना जाता है और इसका पान करना यानी इसे पीना सौभाग्य। लेकिन चरणामृत लेते समय हम कुछ गलतियां करते है, जिससे भगवान रूष्ट हो सकते हैआइए आचार्य अजय द्विवेदी से जानते है कि चरणामृत लेते वक्त क्या न करें ।
