If you were hoping to watch season 8 of Game of Thrones this year, you will be sorely disappointed.
That’s right, we regret to inform you that HBO says the popular show won’t be coming back until 2019!... so find something else to watch this year.
Season 7 wrapped on August 27th to rave reviews and fans were clamoring for news on season 8’s premiere.
At least you can rest assured knowing that season 8 will consist of six episodes, and rumor has it those episodes will be up to 2 hours long.
And if you’re a fan of the book, just keep in mind that pushing back the upcoming season gives author George R.R. Martin time to release the next book.
Also, you shouldn’t forget that there are at least 5 – that’s right, 5 – Thrones prequels in development with HBO…
