China's neon-lit ice city revealed at annual winter festival

Spectacular snow sculptures are on display at the latest Harbin ice festival in China, which opened today.

Drone footage of the 34th Harbin International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival filmed on January 4 shows a neon-lit city created entirely from ice.

The drone video, filmed on January 4, shows the pretty scenery of the ice and snow world before it opens.

The festival, which takes place in Harbin City in northernmost Heilongjiang Province, officially opened today.
