Macy' Face Another Round Of Store Closings

Macy's has not been doing so well lately. The company told Business Insider that it will have fewer than 30 stores on their list of closing stores for this week. In August, Macy's announced it would close 100 stores, or about 15 percent of their store base. Up until October they have close or announced that they wold close around 74 stores already. The company continues to fight against slowing sales and growing online competition. Macy's told Business Insider: "While closing a store is always a difficult decision because of the impact on our customers, our associates and the community, we deeply appreciate the loyalty of our customers and associates."
