Police has filed a complaint against Dalit leader Jignesh Mevani and JNU student Umar Khalid for allegedly making provocative statements during the event that marked the 200th anniversary of the Bhima Koregaon battle. Earlier the police also registered a case against right-wing activists Milind Ekbote and Sambhaji Bhide for provoking violence.
