A three-alarm fire burned through three apartments in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn on Tuesday, January 2.The blaze started at around 9:15 pm inside of a three-story building and later spread to two neighboring blocks, ABC reported. Firefighters had largely knocked down the flames by 11 pm.Three firefighters and one police officer were being treated for injuries.The incident came after a Bronx apartment fire killed 12 and was reported the deadliest New York City residential fire in decades.
