Trump: DACA Activists Will Start 'Falling In Love' With 'Their President'

President Trump on Tuesday accused Democrats of holding up progress in coming to a DACA resolution and said that activists will "start falling in love" with Republicans.

President Trump on Tuesday accused Democrats of holding up progress in coming to a resolution for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients.
"Democrats are doing nothing for DACA - just interested in politics," he said via Twitter. "DACA activists and Hispanics will go hard against Dems, will start 'falling in love' with Republicans and their President! We are about RESULTS."
Just days prior, the president tweeted a list of "results" he expects lawmakers to achieve.
"The Democrats have been told, and fully understand, that there can be no DACA without the desperately needed WALL at the Southern Border and an END to the horrible Chain Migration & ridiculous Lottery System of Immigration etc," Trump wrote. "We must protect our Country at all cost!"
President Trump announced his intention in September to end the protections offered under DACA in favor of creating an alternative and long-term solution, notes the New Yorker.
His announcement regarding the protections given to the 800,000 people brought into the U.S. as children was quickly followed by the setting of a deadline.
Congress has been given until March 5 to pass legislation allowing that group, called Dreamers, to continue to stay in the US.
