Rail chief says he wants to ticket prices to be reduced

The chief executive of Network Rail said today that he shared the desire for train fares to be reduced. Mark Carne who spoke at the opening of the newly refurbished London Bridge Station said that rail fares needed to be kept “as low as possible” so people can still afford to travel by train.
