Star Wars Franchise Outgrosses Harry Potter At Worldwide Box Office

Harry Potter has officially been left behind and beat by the Star Wars franchise. Combining all 10 installments of the franchise, Star Wars has outgross the Harry Potter series at the worldwide box office. It is almost as if Disney knew it would make so much money. The company bought Lucasfilm in 2012 for $4 billion, knowing it was important in pop culture and that they could make a lot of money out of it.
