Dozens of people marched down the main road in the Iranian town of Dehloran, on the Iraqi border, on January 1 in the fifth day of protests against rising prices, economic inequality, and unemployment rates, among other issues.A number of deaths and injures were reported by activists on December 31 after a clampdown by police overnight during another anti-government protest in Dorud, in Lorestan province.
