According to an official on Wednesday, a programming error in a South Carolina lottery game that generated an overabundance of winning tickets, prompted the game's suspension, is now under investigation. After a closed door emergency meeting on Friday, the South Carolina Education Lottery Board of Commissioners moved to set aside $19.6 million, which they said "equates to the potential amount represented by" the winning tickets.
