Italy’s President Urges Realistic Political Proposals

Ahead of an election in March, Italy's president Sergio Mattarella asked political parties on Sunday to make realistic proposals to tackle the country's main problems. During a traditional end-year speech broadcast, Mattarella said, "The duty to make adequate proposals - realistic and concrete ones - is a must given the dimension of the problems our country faces.
