Vidarbha's bowling sensation Rajneesh Gurbani has become the 2nd ever bowler in the history of Ranji Trophy to get a hat trick in the finals of the coveted domestic tournament . Rishabh Pant-led Delhi was restricted at 295 in 102.1 overs, as Gurbani went onto pick first two wickets on the final two deliveries of 101st over of Delhi’s innings when the visitors’ score was 290 before the bowler jumped in joy by taking the hat-trick wicket on the very first ball of 103rd over. In 1972-73, the Tamil Nadu-based fast bowler Kalyanasundaram registered the first-ever hat-trick in the Ranji final when he recorded a hat-trick against the then Bombay.
