A newly-engaged New Jersey woman gave a new meaning to the term ‘falling in love’ when she fell head over heels on an ice rink at New York’s Rockefeller Center just after her boyfriend had proposed to her.Amanda Szymanski, 26, was so bowled over by boyfriend Brian Skolar’s proposal at the skating rink that she lost her balance and fell.In a clip shared to Skolar’s Facebook page, the couple can be seen skating around the ice rink and stopping in front of the iconic Rockefeller Christmas tree. Shortly after Skolar gets down on one knee and places the engagement ring on her finger, Szymanski falls over.Speaking to Inside Edition, Skolar said the fall made the night more memorable.“There was a lot more I wanted to say but I saw her struggle to stand,” Skolar said. “She was excited. A lot of emotion getting to her. It was a big fall, don’t get me wrong, but she walked it off and she was fine.” Credit: Facebook/Brian Skolar via Storyful
