Video from Cumbria in the northwest of England of a family enjoying a picnic in the snow.
In the video, captured today (December 29), filmer John and his family settle down on a snowy picnic table to eat, despite the freezing temperatures.
John's young son Jasper even made a mini-snowman on which to sit on.
Says John in the video: "Now this is how to picnic on a snowy day in the Lake District! Guacamole, chips for dipping, ham sandwiches and Nutella sandwiches ... good company with the family and a pretty incredible view!"
The video was filmed at a spot in the Kentmere valley, northwest of Kendal.
According to local media, snow and icy conditions have been forecast for Cumbria as the winter cold snap continues, with the Met Office issuing a weather warning for the county.
