Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad today in Lok Sabha tabled the Muslim women protection bill against the ill practice of Triple Talaq. Muslim women distributed sweets among themselves in a bid to cherish the tabling of Triple Talaq Bill in the Lok Sabha on Thursday. Introducing the bill in the house, Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said “This law is for women's rights and justice and not regarding any prayer, ritual or religion..It is a historic day. We are making history today”.
