A fire in the Dominican Republic’s Quisqueya Stadium led to the suspension of a baseball match between the Tigres del Licey and the Leones del Escogido on Wednesday evening, December 27.The fire, which sparked around 6:30 pm and warranted an evacuation of the stadium, was caused by the short circuiting of an air conditioning unit in the stadium’s press area, according to reports from El Nuevo Dia.This footage shows the fire from inside and outside the stadium.
