A man braved freezing water to rescue a 70-year-old woman from a river in the city of Baoding in China on Tuesday.
Shi Lei, 54 was on his way to work when he saw an elderly woman falling into a river. Without any hesitation, he rushed to the river bank and tried to break the ice bare-handed before jumping into the frigid water to pull the woman back to the river bank.
