That was the message Rihanna had for the world after learning that her cousin was shot and killed in Barbados.
The 29 year old took to Instagram to pay tribute to her fallen family member, writing: RIP cousin… can’t believe it was just last night that I held you in my arms. Never thought that would be the last time I felt the warmth of your body. Love you always man.
Then she hashtagged: end gun violence.
According to local reports, Rihanna’s cousin was walking near his home in Lake Close when he was approached by a man who shot him multiple times before fleeing the scene. He was rushed to a nearby hospital and later pronounced dead.
