Virginia Democratic Candidate Seeks Delay of Tiebreaker

Virginia Democrat Shelly Simonds has asked the state's Board of Elections to delay a planned random-drawing tiebreaker on Wednesday this week in her race against incumbent Republican David Yancey. Simonds was originally declared the apparent winner in the race for the 94th District seat, a victory that would have created a 50-50 tie in the Virginia House.
