India Yamaha Motor has launched the all-new YZF-R1 in the country. The updated litre-class superbike is priced at Rs 20.73 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi). Yamaha has introduced the new iteration of the YZF-R1 to strengthen its position in the superbike segment in the Indian market.

The new YZF-R1 has been developed as a flagship model of race track with pure MotoGP blood. The new motorcycle is offered in two colour options - Yamaha Blue and Tech Black. The YZF-R1 will be brought to India via CBU (Completely Built Unit) route.
