Apple Patent May Improve Navigation For Self-Driving Cars

Apple is still keeping tight-lipped on its self-driving vehicle project, but last week we may have gotten a little peek at what the iEmpire has in store for us. Patent and Trademark Office published a tome of a patent application titled “Autonomous Navigation System.” It’s the result of what appears to be a nearly three-year journey (CNBC notes that Apple began working on the patent, at the latest, in 2015), and details Apple’s ideas on how to make self-driving navigation systems more efficient.
