The Washington Post reported on Saturday, the FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe plans to retire next year. The announcement comes after months of criticism from Republicans in Congress and President Donald Trump.
Citing “people familiar with the matter," the newspaper said McCabe plans to retire in a few months after he becomes eligible for his full pension. The Post reported that McCabe will not become eligible for his full benefits until early March. He plans to retire as soon as he does.
