Trump Dismisses 'Fake' Polls: 'Nobody Is Going To Beat Us'

President Trump took another aim at the media and "fake polls" on Sunday.

President Trump on Sunday dismissed the recent media coverage of his presidency as "fake news" and "fake polls."
"The Fake News refuses to talk about how Big and how Strong our BASE is. They show Fake Polls just like they report Fake News," Trump wrote on Twitter. "Despite only negative reporting, we are doing well - nobody is going to beat us. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"
Some recent polls show President Trump's approval has dipped into the 30s.
Like Trump, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders has claimed that negative media coverage is to blame for low approval numbers.
Sanders said during a press briefing last week that while the president and his team have remained focused on "how we can better help the American people…oftentimes the media is focused on other things."
She described the media coverage at large as being "90%...negative."
Sanders also asserted that if greater attention was paid to "the growing economy," "the crushing of ISIS," and, "the creation of jobs," "his numbers would be a lot higher."
"We anticipate that they're going to go up as more and more of these things continue to happen," she added.
