Transport lorry rear-ends broken down lorry on motorway

Dramatic footage, from China, of an empty chemical transport lorry rear-ending a broken down lorry on a motorway.

In the CCTV video, filmed in Hangzhou City in eastern Zhejiang Province on August 24, the chemical transport lorry rams into the other vehicle as the driver takes his eyes off the road.

According to reports, the driver's wife had to be rescued by firefighters after she got stuck in the cabin.

After ten minutes, she was released and sent to hospital, her leg was injured.

According to local news, the driver climbed out of the vehicle by himself after the accident and he was not injured severely.

The case is under further investigation.
