‘Halloween Asteroid’ On Track To Return In 2018

A skull-shaped asteroid whizzed past Earth on Halloween of 2015. That roughly 2,100-foot-wide space rock is due to return in 2018, but that visit won’t be quite as perfectly timed.

Astronomers estimate it will fly by in mid-November. 
Scientists are looking forward to getting another look at the asteroid, which is officially named 2015 TB145 and commonly referred to as the "Halloween Asteroid," notes Metro.
Last time around, researchers were able to determine its overall shape was, from certain angles, rather skull-like. 
Also apparent were the large, perfectly placed craters that resembled eye sockets, a mouth opening, and a nasal cavity. 
2018 will mark the asteroid's last visit for some time. It is not expected to return until 2088.
