Rescuers Save Dog Trapped in Frozen River This is Hardy, a nine-year-old black Labrador, who was trapped in the ice of the River Wansbeck, in Northumberland, England. Hardy was saved by members of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty. The RSPCA told Reuters that "he had a small cut on his paw" but that he was "absolutely fine."
