The mega auctions of the Indian Premier League’s 11th edition will be held in Bangalore on January 27 and 28. The news was confirmed by a senior BCCI official. “Since most of the capped players will be back in auction, it will be a mega auction that will be held in Bangalore on January 27 and 28. Since Bangalore has been hosting all previous auctions, that was the choice of franchises,” a senior BCCI official told PTI on Tuesday.

इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग 11वें सत्र में नए तेवर और नए कलेवर के साथ सबके सामने आएगी। सफलतापूर्वक दस साल क्रिकेट प्रशंसकों का मनोरंजन करने वाली आइपीएल की आठों फ्रेंचाइजी इस सत्र में कुछ जुदा-जुदा दिखेंगी। इसके लिए सभी टीमों ने कमर कस ली है। भारतीय क्रिकेट कंट्रोल बोर्ड (बीसीसीआइ) ने तय किया है कि आइपीएल के इस सत्र के खिलाडिय़ों की बड़ी नीलामी 26 और 27 जनवरी को बेंगलुरु में होगी। खिलाडिय़ों को खरीदने के लिए फ्रेंचाइजियों की अधिकतम सीमा 2018 में 80 करोड़, 2019 में 82 करोड़ और 2020 में 85 करोड़ रुपये होगी। अगर कोई टीम तीन खिलाडिय़ों को रिटेन करती है तो पहले खिलाड़ी को अधिकतम 15 करोड़, दूसरे को 11 करोड़ और तीसरे को सात करोड़ रुपये मिल सकेंगे।
