About the Ash's Pikachu Promo cards:
These cards were some of the SM Black Star Promos available in a pack given to customers who bought $25 of TCG products at select retailers starting November 8, 2017. Packs would contain 3 of 6 promotional cards and were available in-store at GameStop in the United States and EB Games in Canada and Australia, and online from Target, Toys "R" Us, Walmart, and the online Pokémon Center. In Japan, these were available as SM-P Promotional cards as part of the Ash's Pikachu GET Campaign, which began on June 16, 2017. For every five booster packs purchased in one transaction at participating store chains selling advance tickets for I Choose You!, customers would receive a special pack containing 1 of 6 possible promotional cards. These chains included APiTA, Piago, ÆON, Ito-Yokado, Toys "R" Us, Fuji, and HEIWADO, as well as Pokémon Centers and Pokémon Stores. 7-Eleven stores were specifically excluded. Both campaigns ran for as long as stocks lasted. The movie logo is featured in the bottom right corner of the illustrations on both English and Japanese prints.
