Walt Disney World recently offered a preview of its freshly refurbished Hall of Presidents and a first look at the new President Trump animatronic figure. Many have noted it’s not Disney’s best work.

Many have noted it's not Disney's best work.
Others have gone a step further, suggesting it repurposed the President Hillary Clinton robot it already had waiting in the wings. 
"They had already started on the Hillary animatronic and had to shift gears halfway through to turn it into Trump," one person tweeted. "That's the only explanation."
"After reviewing the evidence, I am fully convinced Trump's animatronic figure in the Hall of Presidents was originally Hillary and they had to add skin + fat to repurpose it into Trump," another Twitter user insisted.
Other tweets that make compelling cases for the hasty-switch theory include, "the trump robot is hillary clinton. I can't not see it. I saw it before anyone else pointed it out," and, "the trump animatronic looks like they had to modify the hillary clinton robot they made last year." 
The Hall of Presidents attraction has been closed since January, so it does seem Disney had ample time and, presumably, money to start from scratch. 
Whether or not it did so clearly remains uncertain.
