White House Attributes Trump's Low Approval Numbers To Negative Media Coverage

The White House on Tuesday attributed President Trump's low approval ratings to negative media coverage.

Some recent polls show President Trump's approval has dipped into the 30s, and the White House says negative media coverage is to blame.
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said during a Tuesday press briefing that while the president and his team have remained focused on "how we can better help the American people…oftentimes the media is focused on other things."
She described the media coverage at large as being "90%...negative."
Sanders also asserted that if greater attention were paid to "the growing economy," "the crushing of ISIS," and, "the creation of jobs," "his numbers would be a lot higher."
"We anticipate that they're going to go up as more and more of these things continue to happen," she added.
