ESPN President John Skipper Resigns Due To Substance Addiction

John Skipper resigned on Monday from his position as ESPN president and co-chairman of the Disney Media Networks. Skipper stated he's taking time to focus on his substance addiction. In a statement, he wrote, "I have decided that the most important thing I can do right now is to take care of my problem." For the next 90 days, George Bodenheimer, who was ESPN’s president from 1998 to 2011 and executive chairman until May 2014, will be the acting chairman of the company.
