Tata Motors Delivers First Batch Of Tigor EV To EESL - DriveSpark

Tata Motors recently rolled out the Tigor Electric Vehicle (EV) from its Sanand plant in Gujarat. Now, the automaker has delivered the first batch of EVs to Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL). As part of the government's initiative to procure 10,000 electric vehicles, EESL had called for a tender.

Tata Motors had qualified as an L1 bidder and had to deliver 250 Tigor EVs in the first phase. CEO and MD of Tata Motors, Guenter Butschek handed over the keys of the Tigor EVs to Saurabh Kumar, Managing Director, EESL, accompanied by the senior management teams from both the companies.
