Tropical Storm Kai-tak Sparks Landslide in Leyte

Motorists in the Philippines were blocked from travelling along a road in Capoocan, Leyte province, after Tropical Storm Kai-tak caused a landslide on Saturday, December 16.This video of the scene on a road near the village of Lemon was shared on Facebook by witness Imelda Pore Palencia. It shows desperate efforts by local authorities to clear the road with a digger. Motorists can be seen standing next to their cars while they wait for the road to be cleared.Local government officials advised against driving large vehicles along the roads of Capoocan after the landslide, local site GMA News Network reported.
