FBI Agents Released Text Were Not Approved By DOJ Inspector General

On Friday in a letter sent to the House Judiciary Democrats, committee DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz told revealed that the department did not consult his office before releasing text messages that are currently under OIG investigation to Congress and the press. The texts were from 2016, exchanged between former agents on special counsel Robert Mueller's team, expressing a strong dislike for then-candidate Donald Trump.
