The Idle Hour are a Cork based blues/soul band. They have been performing together in various guises for over three years. Having played numerous gigs the length and breadth of the country The Idle Hour took to the studio last year to record their debut E.P., Love by the Fire. The CD shows the bands talent for blending blues guitar riffs, soulful singing and solid rhythm. This combination makes for a powerful and energetic listening experience.
Their live shows are no different and the energy from recording is transferred directly onto the stage with an electric live show led by front-woman Aílín Kennedy. Watch this space for a performance near you!
