Faction's Candide Thovex signature range will help you ski around resort like the star of One Of Those Days himself. OK, maybe not, but they are the skis Candide used to achieve internet virality in La Clusaz recently with One Of Those Days 2. In 4 flavors plus 2 junior versions, there is bound to be a Candide for you. The 1.0 is the narrowest at 95mm - it's a symmetrical, park-specific ski for hammering around on pisted runs and park laps. The 2.0 is the all mountain ski with a little stiffer flex and 102mm underfoot. The 3.0 has more of a freeride orientation, with a directional sidecut and 112mm underfoot for casual off-piste runs. and the 4.0 is the big daddy with 122mm underfoot. It’s the widest, stiffest, and most hardcore ski in the Candide range.
